Crepeville Davis Displays Australian Art

For most of 2014 and 2015, I lived in the cute college town of Davis, California. Compared to the harsh realities of nearby cities, this town can best be described as being in a Pleasantville bubble. Both comforting and slightly irksome, the privilege of Davis businesses and residents is evident. Living in a town with established independent coffee shops, book stores and yoga studios abound, it is all too easy to feel that this level of wealth is normal for America. A short drive to South Sacramento puts things into perspective! Anyhow, one such delightful cafe with terrific food is Crepeville located at 330 3rd St, Davis, CA 95616. It sure was a nice treat to visit and hang up these works! They will be on display and for sale throughout December 2019 and January 2020.

All the paintings here are of various areas of New South Wales, Australia and particularly the Blue Mountains. Sadly, much of New South Wales is on fire at the moment, and has caused devastation for the wildlife as well as astronomically bad air quality. So these days I am thinking about the people in New South Wales affected by wildfires. For a close up of each painting and the prices, visit my portfolio. In addition to the original works, there's also some framed limited edition 8"x10" giclee prints of my favourite works for US$65 each. Anything you're interested in, give me call on 510-290-3301 or email info@eileennoyer.com.

If you happen to visit this cafe, let me know!

Best,

Eileen
